FANS fear a UFC star may have lost his eye after being hit with a brutal elbow.
Rongzhu suffered fractures to his eye socket during his fight with Chris Padilla at UFC Vegas 97.
The 24-year-old’s second UFC fight of his career ended early after he was caught with a vicious elbow on his left eye.
Padilla landed directly on Rongzhu’s eye, causing it to swell up as the Chinese fighter was left with a huge hematoma.
Rongzhu reacted by pointing at his opponent, accusing Padilla of using his fingers to poke him.
He attempted to continue but referee Kerry Hatley put a stop to proceedings to allow a doctor to assess the injury.
Rongzhu was then prevented from continuing with Padilla picking up the second win of his UFC career.
Fans showed concern for Rongzhu as his eye swelled up and turned purple, with some fearing the worst.
One reacted saying: “He may have lost that eye.”
Another added: “That was gnarly! Hope it’s just swelling and nothing too crazy.”

Boxing great Floyd Mayweather also has McGregor on his enemy list after the pair clashed in a cross-sport bout in 2017.

Rongzhu was rushed to hospital for a precautionary scan with his manager confirming Little Yama had suffered multiple fractures.
