GEORDIE Shore star Sophie Kasaei has revealed if Charlotte Crosby will return to the show – despite the star saying she had “quit for good”.
Charlotte, 33, quit the last series after she clashed with co-star Marnie Simpson.
But said Charlotte’s comeback won’t be anytime soon as she has a lot on her plate[/caption]She flew back to the UK after filming just two days on the away trip in Cyprus and vowed to never return to the show.
But Sophie has now said said that she would welcome Charlotte with open arms if she decided to make a U-turn on her decision.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Sophie said: “Charlotte will always be my best friend.
“Charlotte is the type of girl that I might not see for months and months but when I see her it’s like nothing ever is different.
“She will always be my best friend, I adore that girl.”
Sophie admitted Charlotte could make an epic comeback one day – especially after former cast member Scotty T is set to return – despite being axed six years ago.
Charlotte, who has landed a brand new role on the US Geordie Shore, currently has her hands full with one-year-old daughter Alba and her career going from strength-to-strength.
Sophie admitted Charlotte may not be able to fit in a Geordie Shore comeback anytime soon – but said they would love to have her back.
“She’s got the most beautiful life. She’s got everything she wanted and is everywhere she wanted to be and we’ll always support each other and we speak everyday,” Sophie shared.
“Who knows…I don’t know. I would love it.
“But I think Charlotte has her own thing going on now.
“She has her own fashion brand, she’s got a baby and she’s got Jake.
“But with Geordie Shore, you never know, you never know who’s going to come back.”
Sophie also admitted that her cousin Marnie is also in a good place and holds no grudges with Charlotte.
She added: “I don’t really know what’s going on with them, I think Marnie did an Instagram thing the other day saying she’ll always say hi to Charlotte.”
The new mum was then seen storming out after a fiery row with co-star Marnie over a highchair and insisted she had quit for good.
Charlotte flew home early from filming the upcoming series of Geordie Shore in Cyprus after a series of rows, and she and Marnie later unfollowed each other on social media.
Charlotte then broke down in tears earlier this month on her Always On podcast, revealing she had quit the show ‘forever’ and would not return.
She said: “It just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don’t know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird.
While Charlotte did not name any specific cast members, she explained: “There was a silly argument, over a high chair of all things, that escalated. And I just left.”
Charlotte is set to star on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip after bosses were left desperate to land the reality icon.
A source told The Sun: “BBC bosses were over the moon to get Charlotte on the show.
“She has become a real breakout star of the BBC in recent years which is testament to her popularity with viewers.
“Not many reality stars can find themselves bagging such popular shows 13 years into their career and so it was a no brainer to get her signed up.
“There is no stopping her and her recent slate of TV roles demonstrates this.
“Charlotte will be a real hoot on the show and is sure to be the stand-out star of this upcoming run.”
Her role on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip comes off the back of her appearances on three other BBC shows over the last 12 months
Charlotte has already had two wildly popular series of her own BBC Three programme Charlotte in Sunderland.
The fly-on-the-wall series became one of digital channel BBC Three’s biggest hits as it chronicled Charlotte’s first pregnancy and journey into motherhood.
Moreover, she reached the final of the Beeb’s The Weakest Link as well as being a contestant on this year’s Celebrity MasterChef.
Her enviable TV bookings have also made the star a pretty penny too.
We told how the star’s bank balance is eclipsing that of her reality rivals after she managed to bank an eye-watering £2.26million last year BEFORE taking part in MasterChef and Antiques Road Trip.
Last year, her firm CLC Enterprise paid £372,743 in corporation tax, which at a 19 per cent rate, works out that she earned £1.96million in 2023.
