CORONATION Street’s Cassie Plummer has some money advice for premium bond winner Ken Barlow – but will he listen?
Corrie viewers know that Amy Barlow was conned out of her inheritance money as she was manipulated into investing £40k into The Institute.
Amy tells Ken she’s going to have to work more hours if she’s ever to replace her £40k inheritance[/caption] Ken feels guilty knowing that he could help after he won £50k in premium bonds[/caption] When Cassie arrives, Ken tells her about his win and how he’s thinking of giving the money to Amy – will Cassie change her mind?[/caption]However, after a brutal session with Rowan where strangers hurled abuse at her, Amy changed her mind about investing and demanded for her money back.
But Rowan said it was out of his hands as her money has gone to another company.
Amy threatened to take them to court, but then Rowan blackmailed her by threatening to send her to prison for kidnapping – crime to confessed to during her upload session.
Leanne finally realised she was being manipulated and used by Rowan to con Amy out of her money and blackmail her.
This comes after Leanne found her own upload session on his laptop, even though he said he deleted it, and realised he could blackmail her to.
Next week on the ITV soap, Leanne confides in Amy that she emailed herself a load of files on Rowan’s computer.
