ONE woman’s trio of children’s names left online users absolutely baffled.
They joked that the monikers sounded like they came straight from a superhero comic.
In a viral video, TikTok user Taylor (@taylorreskridge) shared some of the worst baby names she has come across.
Taylor, who describes herself as the “crazy baby name lady,” regularly posts some of the most bizarre monikers she has seen.
She shared a screenshot of a baby name announcement from one unnamed woman.
The mum-of-three revealed that her one-month-old son is called Wrath.
While this name may be shocking to most people, the baby likely fits right in with his siblings.
The mother revealed that his older sister, aged 19 months, is called Fury.
Meanwhile, she also has a four-year-old step-daughter called Vengeance.
While Taylor simply asked why the mum would give such unusual names to her children, her followers didn’t hold back.
“Fury, Wrath, Vengence, did this woman give birth to Batman’s kids?” asked one viewer.
“Fury, Wrath, and Vengeance are the love interests in a dark fantasy YA,” said another person.
“OK but Fury, Wrath, and Vengeance actually go kind of crazy,” joked a third TikTok user.
“Wrath, Fury, and Vengeance being real names of real children is so funny considering conspiracy theorists think EVERYTHING is a sign of the four horsemen starting the apocalypse,” said another person.
“The fact that vengeance is her STEP daughter makes it even crazier LMAO,” pointed out one viewer.
“Did her and her new man bond over both giving their children deranged names and decide to keep the trend going??? I need the lore.”
“Did she change her step-daughter’s name to Vengeance or did it just happen to match?” asked another follower.
YOU may think having a unique name helps you to stand out, but is it all it's cracked up to be?
Fabulous’ Deputy Editor Josie Griffiths reveals the turmoil she faced with her own name while growing up.
When I was a child, all I wanted was one of those personalised keyrings with my name on it.
But no joy, the closest I could find was Rosie, Joseph (not great for a little girl) and Joanne.
Josie is short for Josephine, which is a French name, and I managed to reach my 20s without ever meeting anyone who shared it.
When I try to introduce myself to people, I get all sorts of random things – like Tracey and Stacey – which can be pretty annoying.
Although I have come into contact with a couple of Josies over the last year – there seems to be a few of us around my age – it’s still a much rarer name than most of my friends have.
On the whole I don’t mind it, at least it’s not rude or crazily spelt.
And it means I can get away with ‘doing a Cheryl’ and just referring to myself as Josie.
I’m getting married this year and some friends are shocked that I’m changing my surname, as it’s not seen as very cool or feminist to do so these days, but I explain to them that I’m not that attached to Griffiths as I’d always just say ‘hi it’s Josie’ when ringing a mate up.
I think it’s nice to be unique and I’ll definitely try and replicate this when naming my own kids.
It’s the rude names you’ve got to watch out for, so after nine years as a lifestyle journalist I’ll definitely be avoiding those.
“And then they’ll wonder why their kids hate school and quit as soon as they legally can,” said one commenter.
“As someone who grew up with an unusual name, don’t do this to kids!! It’s cruel and borders on abuse,” wrote another viewer.
“These parents need to be arrested,” commented one TikTok user.
“And this is why countries have approved name lists,” joked another person.
“Black Dagger Brotherhood was my first thought but it CAN’T BE,” said one follower.
