A GANG of masked thugs have been jailed after a Radio DJ was bundled into a car and tortured to death while his girlfriend was held hostage.
Koray Alpergin, 43, had returned home from dinner in Mayfair with Gozde Dalbudak, 34, when the pair were kidnapped.

His naked, burned body was then dumped in woodland in Loughton, Essex, where he was found by a dog walker.
Sickeningly, girlfriend Gozde had heard his dying screams while she was locked in a toilet in a kebab restaurant near Tottenham Hotspur‘s stadium for two days.
She managed to escape to a nearby restaurant where the owner, who had met her previously, didn’t recognise her due to the extent of her injuries.
Dylan Weatherley, 20, has now been jailed for five years after being convicted of manslaughter, kidnap and false imprisonment.
This will be added to a minimum 16 year sentence he is currently serving for a separate conspiracy to murder case.
Isay Stoyanov, 44, was caged for 18 months after he was found guilty of perverting the course of justice, while Kyrie Mitchell-Peart, 32, received six years and four months for kidnap and false imprisonment.
Tejean Kennedy, 33, and Ali Kavak, 26, were previously convicted of the kidnap and false imprisonment of the couple and Koray’s manslaughter.
The horror unfolded in October last year as Koray and Gozde made their way home from a meal out in Mayfair.
His attackers had been lying in wait for the couple to return after installing a tracking device on his Audi.
He was “frogmarched” into a white van, while Gozde was led at knifepoint to the van by one of the masked thugs.
The masked thugs took the couple to an empty wine bar that backed on to White Hart Lane where Koray told his girlfriend: “My love, don’t be scared”.
She was punched twice in the face and feared she would die before being taken to a dark toilet where she was blindfolded and tied up.
Koray meanwhile was subjected to a campaign of torture as the gang took turns to maim him.
Gozde was eventually released after two days with bruising to her eyes, a broken and a bleeding nose.
She was also wearing an oversized jacket given to her by the men, who had given her chicken and Coca-Cola during her captivity ordeal.
Koray, a well-known and popular figure in the British Turkish community, was discovered dead near the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate on October 15.
A post mortem found he had suffered 94 separate injuries to his mutilated body, including 14 fractured ribs and brain damage.
Prosecutor Crispin Aylett KC said: “From the number and nature of the injuries that were sustained, the prosecution suggest that it is not hard to envisage a group of sadistic thugs taking it turns to inflict injury, whether with punches and kicks, hitting him with a bat, scalding him with boiling water or stabbing his feet.
“The only mercy, if mercy it be, was that the pathologist considers that Koray Alpergin could not have survived these terrible injuries for very long and certainly not for more than a few hours.”
The court heard there was no evidence that Weatherley or Stoyanov were directly involved in the violence.
Koray had seemed anxious and on edge in the weeks leading up to his death, it was said.
He had asked a friend who left his house later that night to let him know if a white van was waiting outside.
Mr Aylett said: “Koray Alpergin must have had some idea of what was in store for him.”
Following his death, tributes flooded in for Koray, who had rubbed shoulders with celebs including Salt Bae and Diddy.
His dad Tuncay Alpergin said his son’s place in life will not be filled in a heartbreaking post.
While friend Bay Hic, who had appealed for help in finding Koray after he vanished, said: “The description of the death of my friend and colleague, dear Koray, whom the society in London knows very well, is an impossible pain and sadness…
“I wish condolences and patience to all those who love him, especially his family. May Allah have mercy upon them. Amen”.
