A SHOPPER was amazed when the cashier confirmed a budget-friendly moisturizer was a dupe of one of her skincare staples.
She rejoiced at the thought of no longer having to “sparingly” use her $75 skincare set.
She raved about the affordable moisturizer on Reddit’s Trader Joe’s forum, which has over 332,000 members.
In a photo taken at her local Trader Joe’s store, she showed a shelf full of the $7.99 product.
“Farmacy Honey Halo dupe! Honey Hydration Day & Night Cream Duo,” she said, writing under the handle Comfortable_Flow_317.
“The Farmacy Honey Halo moisturizer is a holy grail product in my skincare routine, especially during the colder months but it’s so incredibly pricey so I use it sparingly.
“I just about lost it when I saw this today and the cashier confirmed it’s a dupe for the Honey Halo moisturizer!
“I hope it works just as well because that price point in comparison.”
Farmacy’s Honey Skin Duo has a 4.9-star rating on the brand’s website.
The $75 product includes a ceramide hydration mask and moisturizer created to “replenish” dry skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
The mask is formulated with honey, apple extract, and ceramides, which help protect the skin’s moisture barrier.
Meanwhile, the moisturizer contains shea butter, vitamin E, and ceramides.
Trader Joe’s affordable dupe is a day and night cream rather than a mask-and-cream combo.
Manuka honey and ceramides are among its notable ingredients for softening the skin.
The $7.99 product is sold in a similar hexagonal-shaped jar to Farmacy’s duo.
Many people praised the Redditor for sharing the Trader Joe’s dupe and said they were eager to try it.

Trader Joe’s Vanilla Lip Mask costs $5.99 and is a dupe of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask priced at $24.
