On the show, Sam plays one of The Fates; three trans non-binary, immortal Gods of desire.
Appearing alongside Suzy Eddie Izzard and Ché, the show sees the three Fates (Atropos, Lachesis, and Clotho) deciding the destinies of all of humankind.
Sam discussed the “powerful” experience playing this part in an interview with Pink News.
The star shared: “Existing and operating as a trans person, you can often feel quite immobilised or powerless because I suppose the fate – pardon the pun – of your life is discussed in an abstract setting, like the government.
“So when it comes to playing parts, I think I enjoy and thrive most on enacting that part of me that is powerful.”
The mythological fantasy was released on August 29, with Jeff Goldblum as classical God Zeus.
The premise follows Zeus fearing the end of his reign while also becoming paranoid towards his devoted followers.
The cast also includes Billie Piper, Janet McTeer, David Thewlis and Stephen Dillane.
Fans have also been enjoying Kaos, as they shared rave reviews on X, formerly known as Twitter.
One wrote: “Have just watched the first episode of #Kaos on Netflix and I have to say if you’re not watching this already then you need to question your priorities.
“It’s superb and Jeff Goldblum… has a role ever better suited an actor?”
A second enthused: “No cause everything is right in the world because of Netflix new show Kaos.”
While a third shared: “just finished kaos on netflix after starting it less than 24 hrs ago it was so good”.
Netflix's fantasy comedy-drama Kaos features a talented ensemble cast bringing writer Charlie Covell's story to life. Here are some of the show's famous faces.
Yet another stated: If Kaos doesn’t get renewed by Netflix for a season 2 I am just going to assume society forgot what true creative stories are.”
Kaos comes as Sam’s acting career has been steadily building.
An earlier role came in “Child 44”, opposite major stars Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy.
Kaos is streaming on Netflix.
