A LASH technician has left people horrified after proudly showing off the mega falsies she gave a client.
Although many beauty buffs prefer to have a more natural look, long and thick lashes are still very much in fashion.
One Brazilian lash tech has taken the internet by storm – for all the wrong reasons[/caption] The beauty buff has not yet hit back at the harsh criticism[/caption]One of those helping make-up lovers achieve the glamorous aesthetic is lash tech Ingrid Marc, from the Central-West Region of Brazil.
The stunning brunette regularly showcases her work on TikTok, where her page has racked up close to a staggering 22k followers.
But while her clients may be happy with the epic makeover, one such video has recently taken the popular platform by storm – for all the wrong reasons.
The now-viral video, which has won more than an astronomical 3.6million views in less than a week, sees Ingrid (@cilios_ingridmarcielly) zoom into a woman’s face as she poses with the falsies.
Although it is not known how much the beauty lover had forked out for the visit, Ingrid revealed she’d opted for ”mega volume” lash extensions.
The prices for this varies depending on the location and the salon, but on average a full mega volume set will cost you around £140.
In the clip, the glowing woman was smiling, seemingly all chuffed with the results – despite the bloodshot eyes which were also teary.
Thousands of horrified social media users immediately noticed the watery eyes, as they flocked to the comments.
One mortified TikTok fan said: ”We crying too sis.”
Another chimed in: ”That looks so painful. Her eyes.”
”That eye infection is included on the price?” someone else wondered.
”I’m confused.. Do you really, truly like that look?” a critic asked.
Despite the harsh criticism and trolling, the Brazilian beauty has not yet hit back at the haters and continuous to show off her lash applications.
As explained by the experts at Stacy Lash, bloodshot eyes after eyelash extensions are a common problem experienced by many, and not just those allergic to eyelash extensions.
The redness can occur due to a variety of reasons, including chemical burn, allergic reactions, irritation due to improper application, infection, and pre-existing eye conditions.
A BEAUTY expert Nouveau Lashes, part of the HD Brows brand, has revealed what habits could be not only damaging your health, but your beauty.
1. Rubbing your eyes
Debbie Law, International Lash Trainer, said: “Whilst rubbing your eyes could seem pretty harmless, rubbing them too hard can lead to thinning of the cornea, cause blood vessels to break and result in bloodshot eyes and dark under eyes.”
2. Overuse of extensions
Be wary that using them too often can lead to eye infection, allergic reactions and damage to your natural lashes.
3. Wearing mascara too often
Debbie said: “Most of the damage of wearing mascara lies in the removal process, which is why using mascara every single day can cause lash breakage, as well as making the makeup removal process more difficult.”
4. Ripping false lashes off
This can lead to not only losing your lashes, but damaging the hair follicles so they don’t grow back.
