THE woman living in Gavin and Stacey’s real home had a birthday she will never forget after tons of fans showed up on her doorstep.
Glenda Kenyon, 70, is the resident of the terraced property in Barry, Wales, which has featured in nearly every episode of the beloved sitcom Gavin and Stacey.

BBC producers selected her home as Joanna Page’s character Stacey’s family home in the show, which ran for three seasons from 2007 until 2010.
Since the show ended, Glenda said she has had more than 35,000 fans visit her on her doorstep.
Despite the crowds, she added that it has helped with her loneliness and depression.
Glenda said: “Before the filming my life was lonely. I did not leave the house often. Only to get food. Then the film crew came along.
“It was a lonely life. I was going through hell with the depression. I never had many people to talk to.
“But now I have people coming from all over the world to see the Gavin and Stacey house. The visitors are fantastic.”
The pensioner also keeps props, pictures and memorabilia from the beloved show.
Meanwhile, James Corden and Ruth Jones and have been spotted on set as they film the last ever Gavin and Stacey episode.
The pals were snapped with co-star Joanna Page on Barry Island as cameras roll for the final time.
Ruth could be seen back in her leather attire as she pretended to drive a tuk tuk.
Meanwhile, Joanna was seen riding in the back dressed in a floral dress and denim jacket.
The new pictures come after Gavin and Stacey fans went wild following a major update this week.
James had posted a snap of his alter ego’s business vehicle which has an advertisement in the window, reading: “Smithy’s – If your husband won’t do it – I will”.

Ruth also posted on Instagram as she reunited with her co-star Rob Brydon, who plays Bryn Wes.
Gavin and Stacey was last on air in 2019 as fans were left with a cliffhanger.
They watched as James’ character Smithy got down on one knee and finally proposed to Nessa.
Its final episode promises to be the crown jewel in the BBC’s Christmas Day programming.
James previously broke down in tears as he discussed the show’s ending.
Appearing on Virgin Radio, he said: “Last night we were like ‘oh that’s it now. We’ve finished. We’ll never write anything that Pam says again.
“We’ll never write interior Gwen’s house.
“We’ll never come up with an interesting thing that Bryn’s done.’
“We just looked at each other and we were like ‘wow – isn’t that amazing?'”
