WE all hope to be fit as a fiddle in our eighties.
Some of us might even want to be like one grandma who spent summer holiday raving in Ibiza this year.
Joan Higham is an 82-year-old reveller who raised the roof on the party island alongside her 21-year-old granddaughter, Emma Taylor.
She even attended celeb haunt O Beach (formerly known as Ocean Beach) where she posed for a photo with Ibiza legend Wayne Lineker.
Emma, a pro footballer at Blackburn Rovers, couldn’t resist filming her fun-loving gran embracing the party culture on their holiday.
She beamed that her nan is “one of the girls”.
Joan was pictured in a swimming cozzie, white shirt and trendy sunglasses while she danced.
Her good vibes even attracted the attention of young men in the O Beach VIP section.
“The only event my grandma came to was Kisstory at O Beach and she loved it,” Emma tells.
“My grandma has been to Ibiza before, and we plan to make this a yearly girls’ trip with more people planning to come next year.
“I’ve had multiple messages saying how this has inspired others to do the same.”
The family, from Wigan, had decided to celebrate their big birthdays together and bring their pals of all ages along.
Joan got stuck in to the action with the young members of their group, proving that age is just a number.
Emma’s video of their raving antics went viral on TikTok, racking up over 845,000 views and nearly 600 comments.
Fans were quick to gush over how “amazing” Joan looks, with some even dubbing her an “icon” and the “Queen of Ibiza”.
