A MUM-OF-THREE revealed the money-making hack she swears by in a pinch.
She explained that she had eight days to make spending money for her family’s trip to Disneyland.
In her viral video, TikTok user Sophie Bowd (@sophiebowd) revealed that their budget for the holiday had been blown just days before their departure.
“I had £500 saved for spending money on our trip but long story short, a tonne of stuff has gone wrong with my car [so] we ended up having to spend all the money to fix it,” she said.
Sophie explained that she was feeling “stressed” since she had “£0 to spend.”
The TikToker made certain budgeting rules for the days leading up to the holiday, including a freezer clear out to prevent spending money on groceries.
However, it’s her Vinted bundle hack that she is relying on to boost the budget.
According to the mum, the house was “full to the rafters” with children’s clothes that she could sell.
Sophie decided to stop putting off the task and posted most of the items she owned on the site.
While most items she listed were only marked at £1 to £2, she shared the trick she planned to use to encourage shoppers.
“If you get a bundle and message me and say you’re there from TikTok, I’ll give you a massive discount on it because I just need all of this stuff gone and I’m saving this money for Disney,” she said.
She added that her “hoarding” habit for clothes would easily earn her “hundreds of pounds.”
However, the mum also pointed out that it wasn’t an easy task getting rid of some of the sentimental items.
She showed her audience some of the clothes she was listing as she took photos for her account.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the money making plan in the comments section.
“Looking forward to my package from you, happy holidays,” wrote one viewer.
“Good luck, I hope you get a good result from Vinted,” said another person.

“I’ve been to Disneyland four times last year and I’m going again this month and what I’ve learnt from it is there is cheap ways to do it! There are free coaches to hotels,” pointed out a third person.
“Love your honesty on here, it’s refreshing particularly as a mum as so many on here make motherhood look picture perfect,” said another viewer.
“Keep up the good work.”
