A DINNER party turned into a disaster after a woman surprised everyone by serving up one malfunction that was not on the menu.
Her own mother was in shock, and this wasn’t the first time her outfit became her undoing – literally.
Anyone would be mortified by a wardrobe malfunction, but it was even worse in front of people you encounter on a daily basis, according to Redditor Scoopyspagooter.
“A couple of weeks ago my parents had a dinner party with their neighbors and invited me. I don’t normally wear dresses but I’m trying to get into the habit,” she said.
She might have thought she looked nice and appropriate, but she was about to become the main attraction before the main course was even served – for the wrong reason.
“I had to use the bathroom and unbeknownst to me, I accidentally tucked the entire backside of my dress into my thong!” she said.
“I came back outside on the porch where everyone was, turned around to shut the door, and my mom screamed,” she continued.
“I flashed my bare thong a** cheeks to everyone.”
And that wasn’t the first time she was left reeling after revealing a bit too much.
About a decade prior, her parents had hosted a soiree for their neighbors who were moving out.
Seeing as it was a Hawaiian theme, she opted to wear coconuts – and she wasn’t the only one.
She was, however, the only one who suffered an unexpected malfunction.
“I was giving out leis to guests and putting them on their necks,” she said.
“When I was putting the leis around my mom’s friend’s husband, you guessed it, bam,” she added.
“Coconuts busted off. He was so red in the face.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, she shared how her “very” conservative relatives were also present.
“Oh god, I was so embarrassed,” she said.
“Between the two of these stories I’ve basically been naked in public,” she added.
Others shared their own less-than-pleasant malfunctions.
“That brought back a memory I’d repressed – several years ago I grabbed a quick burger at a popular fast-casual place and went to the bathroom afterwards,” said a Redditor.
“Didn’t realize I’d also tucked my dress into my underwear. A stranger came running up to tell me just after I stepped outside the very busy restaurant. I was so mortified,” they added.
“This had me dying laughing – I’ve also accidentally tucked my dress or skirt into my underwear accidentally lol,” said another user.
“A few years ago my friend did this when she got dressed in the morning, then walked 20 blocks to work – in the middle of New York City,” a reader shared.
