THIS is the terrifying moment a group of thugs on mopeds tried to “bike jack” a cyclist – but ended up receiving instant karma.
Shocking footage shows the innocent cyclist bravely fighting off the gang after they attacked him on a quiet street.

The gang could be seen earlier via the cyclist Go-Pro, seconds before the attack.
However, the thugs were forced to “face the consequences of their actions” after the extremely dangerous manoeuvre.
Rafal, from Birmingham, UK, quickly got up from the floor and appeared to spray the thugs with a red criminal identifier gel.
And within moments, the gang members scrambled to escape and flee the street.
They even left the hammer-wielding attacker behind who then had to run away on his feet.
Posting the horrifying moment to YouTube, viewers were left distraught on behalf of Rafal.
One viewer commented: ‘Respect! I wish there would be fewer situations like this.’
Another added: ‘Bravo!’
It comes after an idiotic driver received “instant karma” for brake-checking a lorry on the motorway.
Dashcam footage uploaded to YouTube shows the black Ford Mondeo overtaking the truck at speed.
The driver then pulls out violently in front of the HGV and hits the brakes.
This practice, known as brake checking, is intended to startle the motorist behind and force them to slam on the brakes or risk a crash.
It is as dangerous and illegal and it is idiotic but has unfortunately become common among some more unpleasant road users.
However, in this case, the Ford driver received a dose of “sweet karma” immediately after they employed the tactic.
The yob had clearly failed to check their surroundings before trying it on as a pair of policemen on motorcycles entered the frame just moments later.
Within seconds the blue lights were on and the Mondeo was forced off at the next exit for the driver to “face the consequences”.
Despite making a series of hand gestures out of his window, the driver complied and was last seen turning down the exit road sandwiched between the two police bikes.
