HORROR fans should get ready to be terrified – AGAIN – as the director of Terrifier 3 has dropped a chilling update.
Director Damien Leone has revealed the nightmarish third installment left one star struggling not to vomit.
Terrifier 3 is due out in a few weeks[/caption] It is so stomach-churningly gory one star struggled not to get sick[/caption] Movie goers were given sick bags when watching Terrifier 2[/caption]The first two movies were brutal – with a demonic clown hacking off body parts, scalping victims and using broken bottles to torture victims.
But fans who thought that was too much should be prepared to buckle up.
Leone has promised Terrifier 3 will push the horror even further.
He said one scene so disgusting it nearly made a cast member lose their lunch.
Leone wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Can honestly say we just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set… the BTS is hilarious.
“Can’t wait for you all to see!”
Lead actor David Howard Thornton was the one who almost puked.
He plays the terrifying Art the Clown, and confirmed the gruesome attacks were tough to play out.
In response to a fan on social media, Thornton wrote: “I will just say that this is the kill that almost made me vom. That’s a first.”
Damien went on to show give examples of what fans can expect.
He said: “The past couple of weeks on the set of Terrifier 3 have been some of the most intense and taxing of my career!
“But seeing genuine smiles around the monitor & hearing numerous cast & crew members say they’ve gotten chills multiple times makes it all worthwhile. It’s a good one!”
Sick bags were provided to viewers who watched the second instalment at early screenings, and the director was forced to hit back at cliams it was a marketing ploy.
He said at the time: “To everyone saying that reports of people fainting and puking during screenings of Terrifier 2 is a marketing ploy, I swear on the success of the film it is NOT.
“These reports are 100% legit. I wish we were smart enough to think of that! But then again we didn’t need to.”
One movie goer verified his comments by sharing their experiences of the film.
They wrote: “The guy behind me passed out cold and crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good I overheard him say.
“And walking out of the theatre door I heard a guy puking hard and loud in the bathroom.”
Terrifier 3 launches in cinemas in the UK and US on October 25th.
