SHANE LOWRY accused a golf reporter of “blasphemy” in a live interview after being left stunned by her lack of knowledge about Oasis.
Lowry was being interviewed on FanDuel TV by Ali McCann who asked the 37-year-old golf star which celebrity he would love to grab a drink with to pick their brain.

You know Oasis are back together?”
However, McCann appeared confused at the answer, with Lowry then asking whether she knew who they were.
McCann then admitted: “I don’t even know.”
Lowry was shocked by the revelation, saying: “You don’t know who Oasis are?
“Oh my god… you’re obviously way younger than me.
“This is like the biggest news ever. You need to look them up.”
McCann was left red-faced as Lowry expressed his disbelief, before she said: “I’m so sorry, I’ll do that immediately after this.”
Someone outside of the camera shot could be heard commenting: “She doesn’t know who Oasis are?”

Ryder Cup hero Lowry turned and gestured to McCann as he said: “She doesn’t know Oasis. Blasphemy.”
McCann saw the funny side and doubled down on her apology, saying: “I just ruined this whole interview, I’m so sorry.”
Lowry added: “This is going to make it good though,” before he later shared the clip on social media with the caption: “I mean really?”
Sports reporter McCann later posted on Instagram: “Ashamed of myself tbh.”
