A CORONATION Street star has landed a huge new role alongside David Tennant in a Disney+ series.
Cobbles legend Denise Black has secretly been signed up by bosses at the streaming giant for Jilly Cooper adaptation Rivals.

And The Sun can reveal Denise, 66, will appear in the new blockbuster, having filmed her scenes last year.
The star – best known for her role as Denise Osbourne in Coronation Street – plays David Tennant’s straight-laced secretary.
Rivlas’ all-star cast also features Danny Dyer, Emily Atack and Aidan Turner.
Skins heartthrob Luke Pasqualino also heads up the cast which follows the raucous antics of those in fictional Rutshire.
Disney+ have yet to confirm a release date for the highly-anticipated new series, though recently dropped a first-look trailer.
We previously revealed how Danny Dyer and Emily Atack stripped off for the show.
Emily, 34, will go starkers for a scene during a tennis match.
One of the show’s stars previously admitted how the programme had made use of 30 per cent of the world’s intimacy coordinators for the romp-fuelled show.
Pictures released last year showed Danny, 47, looking unrecognisable while filming on location for the show.
