An Oasis fan took to social media to say: “So when does the recording of the new album start?
“I’m assuming that’s why Noel scrapped his acoustic album for a Rock n Roll album.”
Liam Gallagher simply replied: “November.”
The reaction from his fans has been huge, with many taking to social media to share their excitement at the potential of a new album being recorded so soon.
One person wrote: “A new album, now that would definitely be something.”
A second added: “Really hope he’s not messing about. Dunno if I’ll be able to catch one of the ’25 shows but having Liam singing Noel written songs again is all I really want.”
A third penned: “He told us about the photo shoot, believe!”
A fourth person added: “I’m honestly more excited for a new album than a stadium tour but i seem to be in the extreme minority on that one.
And a fifth said: “Liam is definitely telling the truth but everyone is so used to him saying nonsense.”
Sources close to the band have confirmed to The Sun that there are no plans for new music.
Yesterday, the brothers revealed they will play 14 stadium shows next summer including four at Wembley – their first gigs since Noel left the group in 2009.
And they’ve hinted at a massive American tour after their UK gigs.
Then, yesterday afternoon, Noel was seen arriving at a recording studio with his crew carrying boxes and guitar cases in and out of the building.
The songwriter looked relaxed in a grey polo shirt and jeans as he climbed out of a luxury 4×4, alongside a woman in a cream dress.
It comes just hours after new photographs of the Gallagher brothers – the first of them together since the band’s split – were released to promote the tour.
Fans had been eagerly awaiting the news at 8am following The Sun’s exclusive confirmation that the Wonderwall rockers will hit the road in 2025.
