After the success of Selling Sunset, the global streaming giant commissioned a string of reality series around the real-estate industry.

The real estate series stars US broker Ryan Serhant, 40, who was previously known for his role on a number of Bravo series.
He first made his debut on Million Dollar Listing New York, which was followed by his own spin-off series, Sell It Like Serhant.
However, Netflix soon commissioned a series of its own with the star, as he aimed to build his brokerage to be the biggest in the world.
According to Variety, the streamer has given the green light for a follow up series.
In a statement to the outlet, Ryan gushed: “It’s a lot to take in — it’s a global hit.
“‘Owning Manhattan’ is unlike anything else on TV, we basically invented a new format.”
He added: “I’m ecstatic, but it’s also overwhelming, in a good way. I can’t wait for what’s to come.”
The star also hinted that the full cast of realtors will return for another outing in the second series.
He admitted: “Tricia Lee and Jess Markowski’s backstories are a lot.
“Nile and what he has gone through — we didn’t have time in Season 1 to really dig through.”
The format focused more on the real-time listing, sales and losses than other similar shows.
Ryan and his team perused some of the most expensive and luxurious listings on the entire New York real-estate market.
Eight episodes made up the first series of the hit show, as it reached the Top 10 on Netflix in 30 countries.
