COPS have launched an investigation after a body was found by a passerby on a popular holiday beach.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public after the body was discovered at Aberavon, Port Talbot, in South Wales.

Emergency services are currently at the scene.
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, according to the police.
South Wales Police have confirmed the body was found by a member of the public at around 9:25am today.
The person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: “South Wales Police was called at approximately 9:25am today (Wednesday, August 28) to a report of a body found by a member of the public at Aberavon Beach.
“The person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
“The death at this moment is being treated as unexplained.”
