A SAVVY Primark shopper has revealed how you can get your hands on freebies – simply by asking.
Who doesn’t love a cheeky freebie, especially as the costs are rising and we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to slash the expenses?
Well, according to one thrifty fashionista, mum Jade Smith, the high street retailer Primark is offering free goodies to its customers by the tills.
The best part? It will come in handy if you’ve already stocked up bits for your autumn wardrobe and are running out of space to store your new garments.
This is because, the shopper revealed on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, there’s a super simple way to bag coat hangers totally for free.
Informing fellow style lovers on the page, the cash-savvy woman wrote: ”Just a tip for anyone desperately in need of coat hangers.
”Go to Primark and ask for some!”
Jade went on in her post: ”I went today and they asked if my mum wanted to keep the hangers and I said I will as I’m in need of some and she gave me a bag full.”
According to the fashionista, the staff member told her the employees ”get charged to dispose of them” and offered her to come in for more if she needed extra.
”This was the Oldham store but I assume it’s across all of them.”
In the post, which has since racked up close to a whopping 400 likes, Jade also showed off the bag full of their signature black coat hangers – which are bound to be a lifesaver if you’re a fashionista like us, the team at Fabulous.
Hundreds of Facebook users flocked to comments to tag their pals and other Primark shoppers, with one person who claimed to work at Primark also confirming the hack.
”I work there!! Just ask we will defo give u them!!”
One shopper who wasn’t aware of the simple trick had seen the post just in time, writing: ”Wow thanks I’m always in need of some.”
Another chimed in: ”I’m so glad I’ve just seen this, literally just been on amazon looking at coat hangers.”
”Yes Primark will give you loads of hangers if you ask,” a person added.
