MANCHESTER CITY will not be hosting any of Oasis’ reunion gigs due to a planned renovation of the Etihad Stadium.
The English Britpop band reunited after 15 years apart this week, which has led to fanfare up and down the country.
The band has announced multiple gigs across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
The Rock ‘N’ Roll stars will hit venues such as Wembley Stadium, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
One stadium that will not be on the list is the Etihad Stadium in Manchester as plans Slide Away.
The Gallagher’s are both superfans of the Citizens but it will not be a part of The Masterplan.
This is due to the ground is undergoing a project to raise the capacity from 53,400 to 61,000.
The plans will also see a 400-bed hotel be built but work is not Supersonic.
This means that the work will not be completed in time for the Oasis tour.
The £300million project is expected to be completed in time for the 2025/26 season.

City have also revealed that the renovation will see a new club shop and museum be built.
The club is hopeful that the work will be finished and be open in late 2026.
NOEL and Liam’s feuding stretches back 30 years and is among music’s best known. Here’s a recap.

Summer 1995: While recording (What’s The Story) Morning Glory, Noel reportedly hits Liam over the head with a cricket bat.

April 2009: Noel calls Liam “the angriest man you’ll ever meet” in Q mag, adding: “He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup”.
August 2009: Oasis pull out ‘V’ Festival gig at the last minute. Liam reportedly had laryngitis but Noel claims he’s “hungover”.
Late August 2009: As the band prepare to play in Paris a row breaks out and, as we reported, Liam wields Noel’s guitar “like an axe”. The tour is axed. Noel states: “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis.”
June 2017: After the Manchester terror attack Liam slates Noel for not attending the Old Trafford tribute gig. Noel’s camp say he was out the country.
Oasis, for the time being, will have to Roll With It and plan future gigs at different venues.
So far, the band will Go Let It Out across their current scheduled 14 dates.
It is thought that further dates across Europe may be added to their schedule.
