A LITTLE-KNOWN streaming app for Amazon Fire Sticks and Roku is about to receive an extra five channels backed by Sky.
Plex is a free streaming service with more than 50,000 TV show episodes and movies available to watch instantly.

As well as on-demand content, Plex has some live channels too and in the latest shake-up there will be five additions coming to screens across the UK.
The channels come from A+E Networks EMEA, which Sky owns in joint partnership with Hearst.
These will showcase popular shows and series from both the UK and the US, including captivating history, true crime, mystery, and world war stories, the company claims.

An exact date for their launch has not been revealed just yet but A+E Networks EMEA says they will be on Plex “soon”.
Deal Masters is aimed at anyone interested in shows on making extra cash, with known titles such as Hardcore Pawn, Dickinson’s Real Deal and Flipping Bangers.
Meanwhile History Hunters features programmes with the likes of Sir Tony Robinson, Professor Alice Roberts, Dan Jones, and Al Murray.
Inside Crime is filled with documentaries and series like Crimes That Shook Britain.
Meanwhile, World War TV delves into everything from the Blitz to Anne Frank.
And Mystery TV is home to the weird and wonderful, with documentaries on aliens and other strange subjects.
