A FASHION fanatic has urged shoppers to run to H&M for an on-trend jacket that is set to sell out for autumn.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of ex-Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw who signed a loan deal with Wigan Athletic last summer.
She regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit tips with her army of followers on social media.
Her dressing room is unsurprisingly packed with designer handbags, jewellery and footwear.
But the down-to-earth WAG still loves to hit the high street for fashion buys too.
In a recent video, the newly engaged blonde beauty bagged an autumn must-have in a H&M haul and gushed that she is “finally in her element” being able to shop for cosier outfits.
And a £39.99 tan suede collared jacket has been one of her first buys for the new season.
Trying it on, she said: “Suede and trucker style jackets are what is going to be big this autumn/winter.
“I think this is gorgeous. I love the fit of it, I love the pockets. I feel like it looks really expensive.
“It’s like a bomber style at the back which I love. It makes it a little bit cooler.”
She added: “It’s the perfect colour. This is the jacket that you need to throw on to go to the shops, or you’re going out.
“It’s not freezing but you’re not going to be warm enough with your arms out so you still want to look cute, you throw this jacket on.”
The H&M piece comes in sizes XXS to XL, but is almost completely sold out online.
Size 10 footie WAG Ellie bagged hers in an XXL for the oversized look.
“It fits perfectly”, she gushed.
“This is exactly how I’d want it so I can layer it when it gets a little bit colder.
“If you’re wanting this, if you’ve got your eye on it, I would run now before it sells out.
Ellie's love for suede is on-trend for the Boho 2.0 look.
The Noughties were the era of boho queens including Nicole Richie, the Olsen twins, and The OC’s Mischa Barton, when Topshop had its heyday and models Kate Moss and Alexa Chung were the denim-shorts-and-waistcoat-wearing pinnacles of free-spirited fashion.
And now, boho is back, with designers including Chloe sending models down the runway for SS24 in billowing dresses and excess tassels, with modern-day It Girls Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid jumping on the throwback trend.
John Lewis has reported that searches for “boho dresses” have increased by 278 per cent, and Google Trends revealed inquiries about “boho festival outfits” are up by 90 per cent.
Meanwhile, searches for “Kate Moss for Topshop” on Vinted are up 45 per cent month on month as fashionistas try to track down pieces from her iconic Noughties boho collection for the store.
But Boho 2.0 is undoubtedly a more modern, paired-back and grown-up take on the original look.
It’s all about taking elements of boho style and making it work with what we have already, rather than dressing from head to toe in it.
Think less busy prints and a more restrained colour palette — with not as much bright reds and purples.
And opt for just one or two textures — suede, sheer fabrics, ruffles, frills — to avoid looking more eccentric granny than bohemian babe.
You can also try mixing elements with smarter pieces.
So a floaty sheer blouse would work perfectly with a pair of tailored trousers, or try a tiered midi skirt with a blazer and ballet flats.
“I do feel like this will go because everyone, including myself, is obsessed with anything suede at the moment. So if you like it grab it while you can.”
After watching Ellie’s video, another fashionista admitted: “Instantly bought the jacket.”
It’s just the latest suede buy the footie WAG has picked up to mark the new autumn trend, after bagging £49.99 platform heels in Zara and a £145 tan suede bag from The White Company.
Vlogger Ellie has been with her football ace beau since before his time at Celtic.
Liam, who has spent the last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, proposed to girlfriend Ellie during a holiday to Jamaica in May.
The childhood sweethearts got together when Liam was on the books at Sheffield Wednesday.
His time at Celtic hasn’t quite worked out on the pitch, with the 23-year-old having only played two games for the club since signing under Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
He had loan stints at Motherwell and Morecambe in previous seasons and despite the upheaval, he and Ellie have grown stronger.
Sharing news of their engagement accompanied by a pic of her huge diamond ring on social media, smitted Ellie said: “Always and forever.”
