IT takes a lot more to stand out on a runway than a stellar walk and tons of confidence – ask swimsuit model Lindsay Johnson.
She revealed her go-to skincare buy to help her face and body glow in a swimsuit — and it only costs $2.79
West Hollywood, California resident Lindsay (@itslindsayjay) recently moved to the star-studded state for her career.
Even though she is surrounded by the lifestyles of the rich and famous, one budget beauty staple is an integral part of her regimen.
Speaking to The U.S. Sun in a backstage interview at the inaugural Swim Week Las Vegas powered by Art Hearts Fashion, the 24-year-old model shared what she uses to keep her skin looking incredible.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of backstage at event venue Zouk Nightclub in Resorts World Las Vegas, Johnson revealed a useful tip to glow on and off stage.
“I put Vaseline on every night before I go to bed and I wake up super soft,” she said.

The long-standing product has been around since 1870 and helps heal and hydrate dry skin from head to toe.
If you don’t have access to Vaseline, she encouraged others to “use a lot of moisturizer in general,” espeically at night.
Another product she recommended that also doesn’t break the bank is shea butter.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, shea butter has vitamins A and E, and the benefits include sun protection, easing eczeme, and dry skin relief.
In addition to moisturizing, Johnson said she also regularly mists her face with rose petal water for anti-aging advantages.
“I think roses have always just helped to keep my skin really even and toned,” she explained.
By prioritizing her skin health, it makes her feel more confident and it shows on the outside.
Johnson walked for several designers during the Vegas event, including Mister Triple X, For The Stars, Michael Ngo, and Berry Beachy Swimwear.

Previously, she modeled in Los Angeles Fashion Week and the work trip to Sin City was not only a first for her but also for Art Hearts Fashion.
“Swim Week Las Vegas offered a version of Swim Week under one roof in one of the entertainment capitals of the world,” said Timur Tugberk, Head of PR and Designing the District founder.
“Everyone attending was very similar to those who attend in Miami, but due to the intimate size of the event, we were all able to get to know each other closely.”
That is exactly what appealed to Lindsay to take part in the shows.
“Because of my look, I got a lot of opportunities with modeling and I thought it would be helpful for my brand to just help build brand awareness and get my face out there more,” she admitted.
After networking with other models, makeup artists, videographers, and photographers, her confidence has grown as she honed her craft.
“They’ve kind of kept me motivated through the whole journey,” she said.
