A MAKEUP fan has shared the best foundation combination for her difficult skin.
She explained that after over two decades of experimenting, the beauty technique was what worked best for her.
Redditor Kup0Moogle shared the makeup tip in a post.
She explained that she’s struggled with her problematic skin for a long time.
“I never really feel gorgeous, and I have pretty difficult skin to work with,” she said.
“Rolling acne scars, PIH redness, scars from a dog bite from when I was younger, large pores, bumpy skin, not to mention a weird undertone (very pale with neutral/olive tone).”
After decades of trying different things, her favorite makeup combination gave her newfound confidence.
“That being said, I have found the best foundation combo for me after 20+ years of experimenting and cocktailing,” she said.
She revealed that she mixes Purito’s $12 Cica BB Clearing Cream and Nars’ Light Reflecting Foundation in a 1:1 ratio.
“It’s glowy without emphasizing my texture [and] hydrating enough so I don’t get peel-y skin,” she said.
“After I apply with a beauty blender, I actually admire how my skin looks.
“That, plus good skincare with [salicylic acid] or AHA, has made a big difference in how I feel.”
Makeup fans raved about the Purito BB cream’s value and formulation.
One fan said it was a “yay for yellow-toned pale oily skin.”
“I have extra oily skin, with pale yellow to olive undertones. #13 Neutral Ivory is a great shade match for me, despite the name,” she said.
“It’s light enough that it doesn’t give me an orange tinted face, and I see no traces of pink or peach undertones.

It is not gray at all. Doesn’t leave demarcation lines, so I don’t even have to blend it on my even paler neck.”
She added that a little goes a long way.
“I’m using only about a pea sized amount on my whole face and it makes my skin look so good. Covers what it needs to cover, but my skin is still visible,” she said.
“[It] sits well on the skin, looks natural or even healthy and doesn’t cling to dry spots when those are present.”
On top of that, she added that the BB cream’s longevity shocked her.
“[It] does not look cakey on me. It won’t melt off from my super oily face even when having it on for the whole day in the summer heat,” she said.
“By the end of the day it won’t look its best due to my oils showing through, but it is still presentable without any touch up. Great price and perfect shade match.”
