THE under-eye area is a problem for many, but one woman has it covered.
She gushed over an $8 skincare buy from the drugstore.
A Redditor shared a cheap hack for better under-eyes (stock photo)[/caption]Redditor Sunpossible260 said her method works better than pricier products.
“Right after I get out of the shower, and after I wash my face in the evening, I put some Eucerin Aquaphor under my eyes to seal in moisture,” she said.
“I swear this has worked better than any expensive eye cream I’ve ever bought before.”
She added that her method is not only working for her, it’s cost-effective.
“It’s a few bucks for a tube that will last for a year or more,” she said.
Sunpossible260 saw a dramatic difference in her complexion.
“I’m telling you that I have fewer wrinkles than I did a year ago,” she said.
“No other product, and I’ve tried many, has given me this result.”
Other Redditors chimed in, commenting on her skincare routine.
“This is based in science,” one wrote.
“A dermatologist showed me a study that stated using lotions like Cerave and Aquaphor less than four minutes after you finish showering/washing is best for sealing in moisture and reduces dry skin.”
“My doctor told me to do this,” said another.
“Absolutely. I have an autoimmune condition that gives me extremely dry and fragile skin,” said a third.
“And one of the first recommendations my immunologist gave me was to pat away excess water with a towel after a shower so it isn’t dripping/running off but the skin is still damp.

They also gave a recommendation to avoid dry skin all-around.
