TIPPING Point have been left raging at ITV after they made a baffling move with their recent schedules.
Viewers were left with Deja vu as the broadcaster began airing repeats of episodes that had aired just TWO weeks prior.
In a baffling move, the channel is only repeating the same episodes[/caption] Viewers have tuned in to the same episode twice within the space of two weeks[/caption]Despite having racked up over 1,700 episodes in total, ITV appear to have been opting to re-broadcast the same 20 episodes from series 13 in an odd move.
On Tuesday, fans were left tuning in to episode 72 of the thirteenth series starring Norm, Maria and Ash as they battled to earn the jackpot on the Ben Shephard show.
What is often a high-stakes game and enticing for those watching along at home fell rather flat when fans quickly realised the episode had only been aired two weeks prior on the 6th August.
Episodes being broadcast in the 4pm slot this week appear to be an entire carbon copy of repeats from the week commencing 5th August.
In another bizarre move, currently only 19 episode from series 13, those currently being aired on a regular re-run, as well as one episode from series 14 are available to stream on ITVX as opposed to the huge back catalogue of those at ITV’s disposal.
The channel has offered no explanation as to why the same episodes are being repeated within weeks of each other as well as to the limited selection being offered up on their streaming service.
It is not clear if it is a scheduling error or a deliberate move on the part of ITV.
The Sun has reached out to ITV for comment.
Fans were quick to rage at the channel for the odd decision with one viewer telling The Sun: “They were on only a week or so ago, is it a mistake?
“I’ve never noticed this before, it’s really rubbish.”
Others flocked to X – formerly Twitter – to have their say, writing: “@tippingpoint or is it Tripping Point?
“@ITV recycle these shows more frequently than my local refuse chaps.”
Another added: “It’s good to see today’s episode of #TippingPoint again. It’s been almost a fortnight since it was shown before…”
A third went on to write: “Think someone who works for itv programming has amnesia cos i’m sure this episode was on last week or the week before.”
“ITV completely taking the p*** now! This repeat of a repeat of a repeat was only on in the last two weeks!! #TippingPoint,” said a fourth.
Before a fifth added: “Either they are repeating these #TippingPoint episodes very frequently or I have a fantastic memory.”
