Raheem Sterling transfer news – next club odds: Bookies reveal who is most likely to sign Chelsea outcast

JUVENTUS are the early frontrunners to sign Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling.

That’s according to bookmakers William Hill, who’ve updated their betting markets on Sterling’s next club after the forward was frozen out at Stamford Bridge.

Sterling arrived at Chelsea from Manchester City for a colossal £50million in July 2022.

During that time, the 29-year-old has made 81 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists.

He was one of the first players to join the club following the takeover led by Todd Boehly, who’s now spent around £1.5billion on 39 transfers in just under two years.

But his career in west London looks to have come to a shuddering halt after manager Enzo Maresca revealed Sterling was not in his plans and that he “prefers a different kind of winger”.

He’s been left out of both squads for Chelsea opening two matches, his shirt number has been given to summer signing Pedro Neto and he’s been asked to train apart from his main group.

So Sterling now deemed surplus to requirements and Chelsea encouraging offers – where’s he heading next?

Bookmakers William Hill think it’s a two-horse race with Italian heavyweights Juventus and any Saudi Club leading the charge.

Arsenal, who’ve previously held interest in the rapid winger, are the Premier League favourites at 6/1.

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are available at 10/1 to complete what would most likely be a season-long loan, followed by any MLS Club at 11s.

London-based West Ham and Crystal Palace are locked together at 12/1, followed by Eddie Howe’s Newcastle and Everton at 14/1 with Tottenham the outsiders of the pack at 20/1.
