Lisa Dock, said: “Got all this for £27! From Asda 50% off Wednesdays on Just Eat.
“You don’t realise how much there is till you have it all out lol there was some special Asda sausages in there too.”
The haul of goodies covered her kitchen counter top and included tins of Pringles, Hula Hoops, Skips, beef burgers, mince meat, ham, sausage rolls, sausages and Aplen bars.
But that’s not all, she managed to also grab three bottles of Pepsi, three packs of Jammy Dodger biscuits, ice cream, breakfast waffles, cakes and bread.
Another shopper thanked those for sharing the money saving hack and posted a picture of her own haul of goodies too.
She said: “Thanks to those who posted about Asdas 50% off some products on Just Eat.
“Got all that for £8.07 (£9.88 with service charge and bags) 14 items, I got 3 more bits but wasn’t available and it’ll be refunded at full price.”
Included in her haul was a bottle of apple juice, orange juice, baking potatoes, ham, bacon, sausage rolls, tortilla wraps, crisps, ice cream, fruit, Fridge Raiders and Jammy Dodgers.
According to those who have used the app – you must order your food on Wednesday and get it delivered on the same day.
It should be noted that the prices of items from Asda on Just Eat are prices slightly higher than going to Asda directly, which means technically, you aren’t really getting a full 50% off.
The posts shared on the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, have garnered lots of attention from other bargain hunters.
They quickly took to the comments section thanking the savvy women for sharing their hack.
One person wrote: “This is a bargain!”
Another commented: “I’m so pleased I’ve seen this,… AMAZING bargains… some of my items were missing and got the full price back as refunded.”
The new deal is super handy for those who need to do a mid-week top up but don't want to head to Asda stores.
“OMG that’s so good,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth used the hack to and said: “£1,7 bargain,” as she showed her haul.
“I always miss these,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Tah for this, will definitely be keeping an eye out in the future.”
