A 32-YEAR-OLD has cracked the code to the perfect skincare routine.
The regimen, however, involves a $4 night cream with a catch.
A Redditor revealed their ‘weird’ night cream that costs just $4 (stock photo)[/caption]Redditor Routine-document-949 posted about it on the social media platform.
“This is going to sound like a weird one since it’s not specifically for the face,” they said.
They explained that at 32 years old, their skin is “extremely sensitive” and “dry.”
“I use the Gold Bond Aloe Hand Cream,” they revealed.
The Redditor explained how they make a hand cream double as an effective facial moisturizer.
“I try to make sure to apply shortly after the wash, when my face is still damp,” they said.
They added that they sometimes try other products, but always come back to Gold Bond.
“I occasionally use something with petrolatum jelly in it like Vaseline, Aquaphor, or Cerave Healing Ointment,” they said.
Routine-document-949 said that Gold Bond gives them a visible difference compared to other products.
“It also helps with redness a lot if I have been picking,” they added.
The Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream is specifically advertised for the hands, but has some ingredients that could work on certain complexions.
It’s made with dry skin types in mind and is formulated with vitamin C.
Vitamin C is a common skincare ingredient for combatting issues like hyperpigmentation and fine lines.
Routine-document-949 wasn’t the only one impressed by the affordable hand cream.
