SINCE Todd Boehly took over Chelsea in May 2022 the Blues have been on a spending spree.
Stamford Bridge has seen 39 transfers completed in just two years, with the club’s most recent signing being Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.
Since Todd Boehly took over at Chelsea, the club have made 39 transfers and spent £1.15bn[/caption] Chelsea recently signed Pedro Neto from Wolves[/caption] The Blues also signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester[/caption]The American billionaire has been determined to bring home some silverware to Stamford Bridge.
Since arriving in West London and sacking Thomas Tuchel, Boehly has hired Graham Potter, Frank Lampard and Mauricio Pochettino as manager – but all have failed to meet his expectations.
Enzo Maresca was brought in for the 2024-25 season with the task of getting the Blues back to the top.
But following their 2-0 loss to Manchester City in their season opener, that goal looks like it will be far from easy to achieve.
However, fans certainly don’t have to worry about a lack of backing for their manager in the transfer market.
In fact some have even jokingly called for a transfer ban, given the sheer quantity of players the Blues have signed.
The Blues have made ten signings this summer, with their most recent arrivals being Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester and Pedro Neto from Wolves.
And with the confirmation of Felix’s return to the club in a £42.6 million deal, let’s take a closer look at all the players brought in by Boehly & Co over the years.

Chelsea have spent more than £1billion in the transfer market since 2022.
While the exact figure varies due to various sources, SunSport understands the figure is just shy of £1.16BILLION.
There is little doubt that the Premier League side has dominated the transfer market over the past two years.
In the Premier League’s all-time spending, Chelsea under Boehly’s leadership currently holds the tenth position in the division.
To put that into perspective, they have spent more under the American’s ownership than Everton, Wolves and Leicester have across the entire time they’ve been in the top-flight.
Chelsea have signed a staggering 36 players on permanent deals and two on loan.
Most of the players have signed long-term contracts with the club and not many have worked out.
Taking into account all the add-ons, Moises Caicedo is Chelsea’s priciest signing under Boehly, with a hefty £115million price tag.
That transfer fee set a new British record and that seems unlikely to be surpassed anytime soon.
It is safe to say Brighton, who initially signed Caicedo for approximately £4m, made a substantial profit on the midfielder.
While the 22-year-old has displayed glimpses of talent, an underwhelming first season showed there is still a lot of room for improvement.
Moises Caicedo is the Blues’ most expensive transfer[/caption]Without a doubt, Chelsea’s best signing in the Boehly era is Cole Palmer.
The midfielder cost the Blues £40m and since he arrived from Man City he has made 40 goal contributions.
And the England star was handed a new deal for his terrific efforts, which expires in 2033.
Cole Palmer has undoubtedly been Chelsea’s best transfer in the last two years[/caption]Comparing Boehly’s spending to the previous owner Roman Abramovich emphasises how much the American businessman has invested in Chelsea over the last two years.
During Abramovich’s 19-year ownership, Chelsea spent £1.99b on transfers, resulting in a net spend of £1.33bn after accounting for £860m in transfer fees earned.

Ilkay Gundogan is closing in on a stunning return to Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have announced the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix on a permanent deal.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the £29.9m signing of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
