A BODY positivity influencer has belittled cruel trolls with her self-love, despite being accused of ”glorifying obesity”.
Although summer is almost over, many of us are still enjoying the relatively warm weather on the beach – and amongst them is also YouTube personality Anna O’Brien, better known as Glitters and Lazers.
The plus-size fashionista, who’s won a staggering 1.1million Instagram followers with her positive attitude, has been spending the last few months enjoying herself in teeny bikinis.
Whether that’s a gorgeous hot pink two-piece or a sexy high-waist bikini with a floral pattern, Anna is proudly showing off her curvy body – and reminded others not to hide either.
”Don’t stress about how you look – focus on how you feel and the experiences you’re having! Joy is what matters in my opinion,” the body positivity influencer wrote in the caption.
”Reminder… Your body is beautiful at every angle.”
As well as soaking up the gorgeous sun across the ocean, in the USA, Anna has also been working on her fitness – and recently even ran her first-ever 5k, finishing ”with a an average pace of 18:57”.
”I put in the work and my body showed up for me!!! I couldn’t be prouder. I can’t wait to keep slow running and seeing my life continue to evolve,” she was proud of the incredible achievement in the post.
But despite the positive attitude, the woman, who’s also been very vocal about living with lipoedema, has also been cruelly bullied for her size.
According to the social media star, from Austin, Texas, there have been a number of instances where she’s been bombarded with harsh remarks and even accused of ”glorifying obesity”.
“You shouldn’t wear that,” read another comment, whilst someone else told Anna she would never find someone.
“No one will ever love you.”
Another meanie commented on Anna’s video where she was seen running and wrote: ”Felt the shake from Australia.”
Luckily, there’s also been heaps of support, with kind-hearted fans saying she was ”being active” and working on improving her health – unlike the keyboard warriors.
And even Anna had something to say to the savage trolls who think that she owns ”them some of of apology for existing” simply because she lives ”in a bigger body”.
Posting an uplifting clip to the haters, the plus-size fashion lover said: ”I also don’t own the explanation or excuse or justification for why I’m bigger.

”That’s frankly an excessive amount work to manage for both parties.
”Plus size people would spend their time pleading their case and thin people would spend all their time reviewing them.
”When you think about it that way, it makes it easier to realise the the truth.”
She went on to note that for the most part, the bullies have ”way too much free time” on their hands and nothing better to do.
