Having first hit the small screen with U.S. participants in 2020, the British edition has gone down a treat since its August debut.
The hit reality format sees single men and women date in purpose-built “pods” before ultimately getting engaged.
The twist is that the couples can hear, but not see each other while in the pods, only meeting once a proposal has been made.
With season one drawing to a close, Netflix subscribers can now rejoice with the news of its return.
Daisy Lilley, the Director of Unscripted UK Programming at Netflix, said: “The response to Season 1 has been fantastic, and we are thrilled to go again on Season 2.
“We’re delighted that Matt and Emma Willis will be back as hosts as more hopeful couples navigate the highs and lows of this unique love experiment.”
While there’s been no official start date for series two, it’s set to land in 2025.
With fans questioning the authenticity, Netflix was recently forced to confirm the show’s nuptials are, in fact, legally binding.
It means couples need to seriously envision a life with their partner before slipping on the rings.
This holds true for the American version as well, with producer Chris Coelen previously revealing to Bustle: “If they choose to get married, yes, it’s a legally binding marriage.”
After the initial “speed-dating” in the pods, the participants then move onto longer dates.
If a genuine connection is formed, a proposal comes next.
After getting engaged and meeting in-person, they go on a romantic honeymoon getaway.
Then, the pairs live together for three weeks leading up to the wedding – leaving viewers on tenterhooks as to what the final outcome will be.
Franchise creator Chris Coelen has also worked on the American version of Married At First Sight.
98 Degrees lead singer Nick Lachey and his wife, host and model Vanessa Lachey, present the Stateside version of the show.

In the UK, Busted member Matt and TV presenter wife Emma take the reins.
It comes after viewers put together where they’d seen participant Nicole before.
An eagle-eyed fan realised she’d appeared in Channel 4 show Come Dine with Me back in August 2021.
Nicole failed to take home the win, finishing in fourth place among the five contestants.
The fan shared a clip to TikTok, writing: “I KNEW I’d seen her before and they called me crazy.”
Someone else commented: “Ahhhh!!! This is where I know her from!!! Thank you. It’s been bugging me”
While a third shared: “I knew she looked familiar!!!”
