AN M&S ”yellow sticker addict” has revealed the times to go to the supermarket if you want to bag the best discounts.
The cash-savvy shopper, who goes by freeloading_chaz, took to Instagram to share his tips and tricks to slash the bill.
According to the foodie, who proudly calls himself ”yellow sticker addict”, there are certain times when the popular retailer lowers the prices of some of their goodies.
One of his more recent videos saw the money-smart M&S fan spill the beans on how he bags their signature sarnies on the cheap -and turns out, it’s all to do with popping into the store at the right time.
”I’m an M&S yellow sticker addict – of course I know sandwiches get reduced at 5pm.”
On the lookout for more cut-price food bits? According to the M&S super fan, he also swears by something called ”the snatch and grab” method.
This means that if Chaz spots another customer looking at the same item he wants to purchase, he won’t waste any time and will instantly take the bargains right under their noses.
As well as bartering with staff members for extra discounts, the cash-savvy shopper also revealed when fellow M&S fans can get their hands on the cheapest bits.
According to the Instagram user, who’s won more than 3k followers, you should visit the supermarket an hour before closing time, as things may be discounted even further as it gets later and later.
In some cases, Chaz will also attempt to ”hypnotise the yellow sticker ladies in M&S to dish out better deals”.
”Well, worth a try,” he joked in the video.
Many people in the comments admitted they’re also yellow sticker addicts, with numerous comments saying ”me too”.
”Why do I feel seen,” a viewer chuckled.
However, it wasn’t all positive, as one person revealed the darker side of the yellow sticker obsession.
The viewer told others about an incident they’d encountered: “Literally just today I had to tell a lady off in M&S cause she was harassing a poor worker, following him around the store and snatching the items from his hands even before he could put them back on the shelf, some people are losing their damned mind.”
Another also shared a similar experience, writing: “Used to do the yellow stickers. Had 2 types of addicts.

They said: “As someone who lived on top of a 24-hour Tesco extra for 3 years.
”Best time for stickers is about 4.30pm and again at 9.30-10.30pm. Occasionally midnight can be good.”
