CHARLOTTE Dawson has revealed that her relationship with fiance Matt Sarsfield has been on the rocks for the past two years.
The TV star, 32, said began to “resent” Matt shortly after becoming a mum to their son Noah in 2021, as they both adjusted to parenthood.
Charlotte said Matt made her feel like a “piece of s***” after his dirty texts to another woman were exposed.
The reality star spoke about her relationship woes on her Naughty Corner podcast today and said: “We do have a good relationship but we haven’t had a good relationship for the past two years, but it’s no excuse.
“Children come in the middle of your relationship and it hasn’t been good for a while.
“Noah sleeps in the middle of us, he’s the biggest c***block, it’s hard to even get that intimate time.”
Charlotte said their relationship has been tested since becoming parents and they struggled to find time for intimacy.
She continued: “I resented him for about a year, because it’s hard, I’m running around all the time working – I’m stressed, doing bath time and he’s obviously gone to the gym.
“Their lives don’t change, men’s lives do not change at all.
“He’s an amazing dad, the boys love him so much, Noah and him have the most amazing bond.
“That’s a really tough thing.
“He was always try and come on to me but I was like ‘no, I’m too tired’, like how you get.
“It’s hard…I’ve got Jude hanging off by bloody t** and Noah hanging off my leg. I don’t have a minute at all.
“Men just don’t get stressed because they get the nice time with the kids.”
Charlotte discovered her fiance Matt had sent “dirty messages to another woman behind her back earlier this month.
But the rugby player has since been begging for her to take him back during emotional phone calls.
She said: “He rings me and he says ‘please, please, please speak to me’ and I said ‘I’m absolutely done with you, I don’t get why you would do this to me, why would you hurt me like this?’
“It’s so hard. Whatever decision I make, people have got such an opinion.
“It’s made me feel like a piece of s***.”
Breaking down in tears, Charlotte says: “I don’t know why he’s done it. He’s got everything.
“There’s been a lack of communication, we just don’t talk. There’s been a few things I’ve been upset about but I’m so laid back, I just let it slide.
“We fell into this rut. I’m mortified he would do that. I would never have him down to do something like that.
“He says he was drunk and he’s just so sorry, he wants to get help. Obviously he’s messaging and calling me, we have to speak because of the children.
“He says he’s so sorry and I don’t like the word ‘begging’, but he doesn’t want to lose his family over this.
“And I’m like, ‘well you did this… why would you put me in this position if you love me so much?'”
“The hard bit is that no one sees us behind closed doors. I still love him. I still fancy him even though I want to chop his todger off.
“It’s really tough. I’m up and down like a bloody yo-yo. I just wish it had never happened.”
