THE Paris 2024 Olympics is heading to its conclusion with both Team GB and USA vying to win gold medals on the final day.
GB finished fourth in the standings three years ago in Tokyo with 22 gold medals and 65 in total.

But it was USA who came out on top with a whopping 39 golds from 113 medals.
In six of the last seven Olympics the USA have finished top of the medal standings, with China coming out on top in their home games in Beijing 16 years ago.

Team GB have won 63 medals so far, including FOURTEEN golds.
The USA (38 golds) narrowly trail China (39) on gold medals won heading into the final day.
