THIS is the shocking moment two men slashed at each other after a knife fight broke out in broad daylight on a street.
Footage captured the terrifying brawl in Smethwick near Birmingham on Thursday.
A hooded men is seen waving a blade above his head before slashing at the other man, who wears a helmet.
Two other men looked on as the fight unfolded behind a parked car with its boot open on the roadside.
The man with the helmet is seen attempting to strike back with his blade.
The hooded man then turns and runs away, with the two onlookers also sprinting down the road.
Cops were called to the road at 6pm but arrived after the men fled the scene.
One witness told the Birmingham Mail: “That’s my daughter’s car in front with my grandson in it.
“They were and still are traumatised to what they witnessed, broad daylight. I just have no words.”
Another said: “Saw the two lads legging it past my house – was on way to take my lad to football training.”
West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating following a disorder in Londonderry Lane, Smethwick.
“We were called just before 6pm on Thursday following reports of men fighting with knives.”
A spokesperson said: “On arrival, officers found that those involved had fled the scene.
“We are conducting CCTV enquiries to establish the details and identify those involved.”

Frank’s Queensberry outfit is donating £1million to BoxWise to boost its efforts to combat gang and knife crime in some of Britain’s poorest areas.
The charity puts disadvantaged youngsters through a 10-week boxing programme at gyms up and down the country.
Queensberry’s donation will let BoxWise double the spaces on the programme to 3,000.
Frank will also join the charity’s new development board as its chairman.
In an exclusive chat at the boxing club, Frank told The Sun: “I remember growing up here on the streets of north London.
“It was really tough and life could have easily been different for me.
“We have terrible knife crime and other problems due to the lack of respect that people have towards each other.
“We’re obviously in the boxing business and BoxWise do a lot of brilliant things for the community and for boxing.
“These kids been excluded or have been referred by the police or their teachers. If they weren’t here, they’d be out on the streets.
“They’ve brought them through a programme that has changed their lifestyles, how they behave and the way they interact.
“The way they interact with people, the way they work as a team, the attitude they have to their bodies with obesity and keeping fit.
“Working together from different ethnic backgrounds. All these things – they’re all massive big pluses. It’s all tick, tick, tick.
“Why would anybody not want to get involved? We’re blessed and privileged at Queensberry to be able to do this.”

Knife crime has soared by 81 per cent in a decade, official figures show.
Crimes involving deadly blades climbed from 27,000 in 2013 to almost 50,000 last year – the second-worst year on record.
London is the UK’s hot spot for knife violence with an all-time high 21 teenagers knifed to death in the capital last year.
And earlier this year 14-year-old schoolboy Daniel Anjorin was killed with a machete in Hainault, north east London.
Two 12-year-olds, who can’t be named for legal reasons, were also convicted of the horrific machete killing of Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton earlier this month.
