LOVE Is Blind UK fans have begged one couple on the Netflix show to take a DNA test after they spotted clues they could be related.

The streaming service shared a clip of dental nurse Cat and funeral director Freddie bonding on social media, sparking concerns about their bizarre connection.

Cat couldn’t help but gush to the camera about Freddie, who was winning her over with his humour.

But when she asked his last name, she burst into laughter when he replied: “Powell.”

As their conversation continued, Cat mentioned that her middle name, Mary, was a tribute to her grandmother.

Freddie then revealed that his nana was also named Mary – a coincidence that nearly brought Cat to tears.

And the surprises didn’t end there as the pair were left shocked to learn their grandfathers were both called Bill as well.

Freddie, clearly shaken, said, “I don’t believe you. I’ve got goosebumps.

“Do you know what my granddad was called? Bill.”

Cat then burst into tears as Freddie exclaimed, “Oh, what the hell! Are you joking? That’s mad!”

Although the pair may have found a sign they were meant to be together, fans have urged them to get a DNA test to ensure they aren’t related.

One person commented: “We’re Soulmates!… Me: Or we’re cousins!…. can we get a DNA test done before we go any further? haha.”

A second added: “Are we sure they aren’t just cousins?”

Another said: “Old people named William and Mary in the UK? Stop it right now! This is insanity!”

Fans have been hooked since the hit show finally arrived in the UK on Wednesday.

So far, only the first four episodes of the new series have been released, with the rest set to drop on August 14, 21, and 25.
