MAURA Higgins left a VERY rude comment on Pete Wicks’ Strictly Come Dancing announcement after they were spotted kissing.
Earlier this week The Sun revealed that the pair appeared to have struck up a romance when they were spotted smooching at Broadwick Soho Hotel over the weekend.
Love Island star Maura has appeared to address their budding relationship in a recent Instagram post.
Earlier Towie legend Pete was confirmed as one of the famous faces taking part in this year’s Strictly.
The programme’s official account shared his promo shot with the caption: “The only way is #Strictly for @p_wicks01! We can’t wait to see what he brings to the Ballroom! .”
Many rushed to the comments section, including Maura, who wrote: “I know what those hips can do PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!.”
An onlooker told The Sun that Pete joined Maura at the posh five star hotel on Saturday evening where she had been having lunch with friends.
They said: “Maura had been sitting on the terrace with friends for an hour before Pete arrived.
“After they’d sat there for a while Maura went in for a long kiss with Pete. It wasn’t the kind of kiss you’d give a friend, it was very passionate.
“Maura and Pete seemed to be really into each other and kept looking into each other’s eyes before kissing again a number of times.
“When it got dark they moved into the hotel’s Flute bar and Pete sat with his arm around Maura all evening.
“They were all over each other. They looked totally in love and weren’t trying to hide it from anyone.”
Yesterday The Sun revealed a sweet clip of when Pete first wooed Maura, nearly ONE year ago on glamorous night out at the Pride of Britain awards.
Pete and Maura, who appeared on Love Island in 2019, were last spotted together in public at the TV Bafta awards in May.
The Sun revealed last month how Pete had signed up for this year’s Strictly.
A source said: “Pete has joined the Strictly line up and is excited to get started.
“He isn’t much of a dancer but that’s what the BBC loved about him. They wanted the show to feel more like it did in the beginning.
“Pete is also going to attract younger viewers who have followed his career since Towie.”
This year’s full line-up includes Chris McCausland, Jamie Borthwick, Nick Knowles, Tom Dean, Paul Merson, Toyah Willcox, Tasha Ghouri, Sam Quek, Shayne Ward, JB Gill, Wynne Evans, DR Punam Krishan, Sarah Hadland and Montell Douglas AKA Fire.
