GLAM footballer Madelene Wright has left Leyton Orient Women.
Her exit has left fans upset with the winger lasting less than a year in E10.
Wright signed for the Os after four years out of the game following her controversial exit from Charlton.
She shared a post a few months ago about rebuilding her career with Orient.
But Wright is now set to begin a new chapter after leaving the club.
The footie star wrote on social media: “To the club that supported me and allowed me to return to football after 4 years out I want to say a massive thank you.
“From the coaching staff, players and of course the fans, I’m incredibly grateful to you all. A special club with a bright future!
“For myself, the hard work continues…
“Thank you O’s ”
Fans have expressed their disappointment at Wright’s departure with one commenting: “This is the worst thing that’s ever happened to this club.”
