KATE Garraway made a bright return to Good Morning Britain in a summery yellow dress for her first show in three weeks.
Back in July, we told how the ITV anchor rushed to be at her father’s bedside after he suffered a suspected stroke and heart attack.

Yet after giving an update on father Gordon’s health on Instagram Kate, 57, vowed to be back at the start of a fresh week – and the broadcaster lived up to her promise.
Kate opened Monday’s Good Morning Britain in the summery puff-sleeve frock, with her blonde hair styled in a bouncy blow-dry.
She fronted the episode alongside Ed Balls, 57 – who she said would be interviewing his wife later in the episode.
Yvette Cooper is Labour’s Home Secretary and would be addressing the thuggish riots which swamped cities across the UK over the weekend.
Fans were no doubt delighted to see the mum of two back on-screen.
Last week, she also shared a happier update on her father’s health.
Kate shared throwback photo of her smiling alongside Gordon, who lives in Cornwall, and wrote: “Hi all – sorry I disappeared from here when my Dad collapsed & rushed to hospital two weeks ago while having a holiday with my Mum at my brother’s .
“It was very scary but am so pleased that he is now stable & even recovering a bit in hospital – we have so much to be grateful for, but are taking it a day at a time.
“Huge thanks to the incredible NHS staff for their endless kindness & the heart they put into the care of all their patients which has meant so much to my mum & all our family.”
The mum-of-two praised her co-stars for filing in for her in order for her to put her “family first”.
Kate shared: “Huge thanks too to my incredible friends ITV and Smooth Radio particularly Ranvir Singh, Charlotte Hawkins, Tina Hobley and Myleene Klass for yet again changing their plans to cover for me so I could put my family first.
“Luckily I also had some weeks leave booked so I have been able to support my Mum & Brother & be with my Dad while also giving Darcey & Billy some summer fun on their school holidays which of course they really need.
It has been a particularly rough year for the broadcaster, who lost husband Derek Draper, aged 56, earlier this year.
Former Labour lobbyist Derek died on January 3 from complications of long Covid.
Both Gordon and her mum Marylyn, as well as Derek, had shared Kate’s happy moment when she was bestowed an MBE by Prince William at Windsor Castle last June.
