A RECORD number of female prison officers were fired for having sex with male lags in the past three years.
Twenty-nine have been given the boot since 2021 after being caught romping behind bars.

Ministry of Justice figures obtained by The Sun on Sunday show the number soared from just nine between 2017 and 2019.
Bosses launched 124 investigations after tip-offs about women warders’ “inappropriate” relationships with cons, with 50 complaints upheld.
But not all were fired, with some suspended or moved on to a new role.
No male screws were busted with female prisoners but three same-sex relationships were discovered by investigators.
Last week, officer Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, admitted misconduct in public office after a video showed her having sex with a burglar serving time at London’s Wandsworth jail.
Previously, two female guards admitted a three-way relationship with an inmate.
Aleesha Bates, 29, was jailed for two years and eight months but Jodie Wilkes, 27, got a 12-month suspended sentence after the goings on at HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale.

The Prison Service was asked to comment.
