IF your lawn is more mud than grass, don’t worry, there’s an easy fix that won’t break the bank.
One homeowner revealed how they transformed their garden using a budget buy.
Posting on the Facebook group Gardening On A Budget Official, one user shared how she gave her lawn a glow up.
She showed a before picture of the massive mud patch in the middle of her grass.
However, the after picture showed a thick luscious lawn where the mud had been.
She revealed that the pictures were only taken a few weeks apart.
According to the Facebook user, the pictures were taken at the beginning of June and the end of July.
The poster revealed the simple secret behind her garden’s transformation.
“Mad what a couple of boxes of grass seed and some water can achieve,” she wrote.
“I went over it twice with a lawn scarifier [and] attacked it with about 10 £1 boxes of grass seed from Poundland.”
She also revealed how her lawn got in such a bad state to begin with.
“I had a big mud patch from where a trampoline was for over a year, and just moss and mud over the rest,” she explained.
Other Facebook users shared their thoughts on the transformation in the comments section.
“Wow, what a difference,” wrote one impressed reader.
“It looks amazing and I’m going to do the same in my garden now as this has given me confidence,” another person said.
“I have the very same situation. Just moved the trampoline and have a mud patch with no grass. I shall try this thanks for sharing,” commented a third homeowner.
“Wow, what a transformation,” said another commenter.
