A PAIR of fashion-savvy friends have found the perfect summer dress and have proved it looks great on all sizes.
Christie Mac, who is a size 22, and her bestie Sophie Martin, who wears a size six, left fashion fans open-mouthed with their matching summer buys from M&S.
So if you want to give your wardrobe an upgrade this summer, then you’ve come to the right place.
Posting on social media, the two best friends, who are known as the ‘size inclusive duo’ and have just got back from a holiday in Malta, proudly modelled some of their new M&S purchases.
Alongside the short video, the besties wrote: “It feels like forever since we’ve done an M&S haul and this one is a gooden!
“We love a midi dress and these two are gorgeous for summer holidays!
“We also love this tee, it’s giving all the summer vibes.”
To kick off the haul, the besties both wore a Pure Cotton Printed Oversized T-shirt, with a pair of beige denim jeans.
They styled the look with black bags, black sandals and a pair of sunglasses, making this outfit perfect for an overcast day this season.
The M&S t-shirt was once £17.50, but has since been slashed to only £9.50.
But there’s only a few sizes left, so you’ll need to run to your local store if you want to nab it.
But it was their second outfit that really left users impressed, as the pair looked fabulous in the M&S Cotton Rich Embroidered Square Neck Dress.
The gorgeous lace dress, which is crafted with linen for a breathable, comfortable look, was once priced at £55, but has since been slashed down to just £28, saving you £27.
The fashionistas looked fabulous in the dress, which will be perfect for evenings abroad – but sizes are selling out fast, so you’ll need to move quickly to get your hands on it.
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
There’s three different size options available – petite, regular and long – and sizes range from a 6 to a 24, making this frock perfect for a variety of different body shapes.
For the final outfit of the haul, the besties wore a Linen Blend Embellished Midaxi Column Dress, which has been reduced down from £69, to only £30.
Whilst Sophie paired her ivory frock with a gold clutch and gold sandals, Christie opted to match the shell embellished dress with a beige bag and a pair of white sandals.
Both women looked fabulous in all three outfits, proving that your clothes size shouldn’t limit your fashion choices.
