ANT & Dec’s game show has been renewed for another season, despite enraged viewers called it ‘fixed’ after the most recent series.
Limitless Win recently handed out the enormous cash prize of £1 million to a winning pair.
Now the hosts are gearing up to welcome another round of competitors as the ITV show has been commissioned for a fourth season, expected to arrive on screens in January 2025.
During the game show contestants enter in pairs and are quizzed on their general knowledge in a game where all the correct answers are numerical.
A unique feature of the show is its Limitless Ladder.
The ladder has a series of steps with increasing cash values.
After each correct answer, contestants move up the ladder and the potential winnings increase.
The ladder has no fixed end, meaning theoretically, players can win an infinite amount of money.
Participants are given a limited number of lifelines or power-ups to assist them when they are unsure of an answer.
These can include things like removing unlikely numbers or extending the range of acceptable answers.
The most recent series sparked several fix rows, as viewers claimed that the questions were too easy and certain couples were set up to win.
One came after Paul and Ellie breezed through the money ladder, walking away with £75,000.
People watching at home became suspicious of their success when they just happened to have researched countries beginning with the letter S, and luckily got asked a question on that exact topic.
Viewers were also shocked when another pair, Helen and Charlie, won the enormous sum of £1 million.
NHS finance manager Charlie was asked how many years it has been now since Blur beat Oasis to the UK number 1 spot with the song ‘Country House’.
Audience members grumbled that the final question was “too easy”.
Speaking about the upcoming 2025 series, Ant McPartlin shared: “We’re so happy that Limitless Win has been such a hit with the viewers, we love making it.
“It’s such a thrilling and emotional roller coaster of a show we can’t wait to make more.”
