A BUDGET-FRIENDLY shopper brought viewers along as she tracked down beauty products similar to a popular brand at three popular stores.
She scooped up as many Sol de Janeiro dupes as she could from Five Below, Bath & Body Works, and Target.
Self-described “TikTok sister” Amanda Turinksky (@amandaturinsky) loves a good deal and went on the hunt to find them.
In a TikTok video, she shared her “highly-requested” dupe haul of affordable products.
Amanda traveled to three stores to buy their vast selection of items similar to Sol de Janeiro.
The brand’s popular Brazilian Bum Bum Cream retails for $48 and has become a massive hit thanks to its pistachio and salted caramel fragrance.
The skin-tightening body cream also contains caffeine and Guaraná extract to help visibly tighten the appearance of the skin.
The first store she went to was Five Below and she was impressed with the vast selection.
“Apparently, they have a bunch of the Sol de Janeiro body butters, sprays. All that good stuff,” she said.
Immediately upon walking in, she “freaking found it.”
“First store, first try. Get out of here,” she said.
She perused two rows that contained Solar Flare Shimmer Body Oil, $5, in the scents Pink Hibiscus and Brazilian Caramel Dreams, which she heard “really good things about.”
“This one is supposed to be like the 62 dupe,” she said about the latter.
Amanda also stocked up on the Solar Flare Body Butter, $5, in Hibiscus Dragonfruit and Caramel Dreams.
They were the products in the whole haul that mostly resembled the packaging of the original skincare buy.
“I don’t know which one this one is, but we’re about to just get all of them,” she said.
She picked up one of each scent of body oil and body butter and also added two body mists from the brand to her cart.
“I’ve been sleeping on Five Below. What in the world?” she said.
“The Five Below body butter dupes are so good!” a viewer commented.
Next, she made her way to the Target superstore for two things.
“I’m actually looking for – they carry a line of perfume called Finery, and they supposedly have a dupe for the 62 Sol de Janeiro.
She explained that Tropic Glow by Tree Hut is supposed to be a “very close second.”

While walking through the aisles, she found the Tree Hut Tropic Glow Body Butter and the Tropic Glow sugar scrub for $9.99 each.
Like the Bum Bum Cream, the sugar scrub is supposed to have “firming” properties.
She grabbed one of each and checked out.
Her final stop looking for the dupes was Bath & Body Works.
Because of the success she had at the first two stores, she was skeptical about finding them.
“I should have knocked on wood or something because now I’m afraid that I jinx myself, and we’re just going to walk in here, and they’re going to be completely sold out,” she admitted.
Her luck didn’t run out and she spotted them before she even opened the door.
She made a point to “grab one of everything.”
In the body butters, she picked up the scents Vacation Vibe and Solar Shine.
Since they were out of the Pink Paradise body butter, she bought the body oil and body spray instead.
Amanda noticed that they also had a body scrub available in the fragrances but decided to opt out.
She spotted the big selection of Bath and Body Works dupes were right in the front entrance before she entered[/caption]Considering all that she picked up in her shopping trip, she was pretty stocked up for a while.
“Success. We cannot even believe the amount of luck that I’ve had today,” she gushed.
Several viewers agreed and offered positive feedback.
“If y’all want Sol de Janeiro dupes, go to Bath and Body Works as she did. Worth the money and trip,” one commented.
“I’m pretty impressed with the comparison. They did a good job at replicating,” she replied.
Amanda affirmed that the overall cost of all the goodies “wasn’t that bad” and had a money-saving trick.
“Bath & Body Works was having a sale and I had a coupon and Five Below was $5 each and at Target there were coupons as well,” she explained.
