“We did get quite a lot but obviously we’ve got a lot of kids to buy for so it’ll look like there’s a lot anyway,” Sue told her subscribers.
She showed off some of her pre-teen daughters’ fashion picks for their summer holiday.
These included gingham shorts and a white top with a matching bow, available for £3.99.
Sue explained that she opted for lighter materials that were easy to wash.
She also picked up a colour block striped ruffle summer dress for £4.99.
Sue’s daughters also picked out various versions of the same disty floral romper, £4.02.
She described the style as cute and pointed out that the material was ideal for the warmer weather.
“I love anything like this and the material feels really nice and cool as well,” she told her viewers.
However, she was not as big of a fan of her younger daughter’s £3.49 faux denim shorts.
The shorts featured a unicorn graphic on the leg, which Sue said her daughter loved.
She explained that her issue with the item was the unexpectedly thin material but said it didn’t matter if her child liked it.
Sue also selected some outfits for her sons, including a £4.99 polo shirt with an anchor print.
She revealed that each of the clothing items she picked up was less than £5.
Her subscibers shared their thoughts on the haul in the comments section.
Shein is an online-only fast-fashion retailer, based out of China, that has become a number one shopping destination for many around the world.
The company was valued at $66billion in 2023, dwarfing that of popular high street brands Zara and H&M.
The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008, by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.
Shein is a legitimate selling website and is not a phishing scam.
But you may receive a disappointing order or run into shipping issues if you order from the site, according to reviews.
There have been swathes of quality complaints, which makes sense when looking at the price tag.
“OMG, massive and a great price. You’re a great mother, enjoy your holiday,” wrote one impressed viewer.
“Love your Shein shopping Sue, everything you have got looks so nice,” said another person.
“I did the same haul for my large family too. We have gone to North Africa and the Shein clothes are very good [for] keeping the kids cool in the very hot weather,” commented a third follower.
“[I] liked everything you bought, the kids stuff [is] really nice, so cute,” said another subscriber.
“The items you had for the kids and yourself are very nice. Shein do have nice clothing,” wrote one YouTube user.
