FANS have said that a medic will be haunted forever after stealing a chair for an injured Olympian.
Brazilian fencing star Nathalie Moellhausen fainted during her match against Canada’s Ruien Xiao on Saturday at the Paris Olympics.
The athlete was revealed to have pain caused by a benign tumour on her coccyx.
After she went down, two medics rushed to her aid while an Olympics organiser brought her a chair to sit on.
However one of the medics had a lapse of judgement and sat on the chair himself.
The organiser told him that the chair was there for Moellhausen, and he quickly got off it.
The medic then helped Moellhausen to the chair to continue treating her.
The moment was caught on camera and has gone viral on social media.
Fans have quickly reacted as one claimed it would “haunt him forever”.
A second commented: “He’ll be in the shower 35 years from now and it will pop in his head and make him cringe.”

A third posted: “Homeboy thought the chair was for him! I’m dead!”
A fourth wrote: “When in big stress, I’ll do similar stupid things. I feel for him.”
A fifth said: “This guy thinks the chair is for him and I can’t stop laughing.”
Another added: “I have secondhand embarrassment.”
Meanwhile, Moellhausen has had her surgery brought forward.
The tumour was discovered in February but the fencer opted not to have surgery as it was benign.
However, it has still caused her pain and she has apparently been given morphine to ease the issue.
