A WOMAN has revealed that she loves clothes from Tu, Sainsbury’s, and has proudly showed off her latest summer finds.
So if you want to give your wardrobe an upgrade in time for the warm weather, then look no further.
And it’s no surprise that supermarket fashion is now more popular than ever, as fashion fan Rebecca Sudwarts managed to get her hands on a stunning summer skirt and lots of stylish dresses from Sainsbury’s.
Posting on social media, the content creator proudly showed off her latest clothing haul, as she wrote: “Tu Sainsbury’s Workwear and Summer outfits. This turned into such a nice workwear edit! A lot of these outfits would be great for the office and the weekend, super versatile!”
The influencer, who is five foot eight and in between a size 14 and 16, kicked off her clip as she modelled a khaki linen jumpsuit.
Thrilled at the find, she beamed: “I think it’s a really flattering shape, you could totally wear this for work.”
Rebecca then tried on a tie waist leopard print dress, as she continued: “This isn’t really a look that I would normally go for, but I really like it’s a shirt dress pulling me in at my waist.
“You could also dress this up and down, I also think this would be a great work dress.”
Following this, Rebecca tried on a rust-coloured co-ord, as she added: “This is a lovely look for the office. I must say, it’s quite roomy.
“Lovely colour, it’s quite autumnal so it would see you through to September, even October.
“Really nice fabric, the waistcoat is £25 and the skirt is just £20.”
To continue the haul, Rebecca, who is from the UK, modelled on a green frock, as she explained: “I think this dress would be perfect for the office in the summer.
“How nice is this colour? A really nice sort of sage green.
“It’s a really lovely fabric, it’s such a flattering dress.”

The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
Despite the success of the haul so far, Rebecca wasn’t totally convinced by outfit number five – a floral dress.
She explained: “I’m not loving, I chose it because I thought the shape would be flattering but I don’t think it’s doing much for me.
“I also don’t like that the print is off white, cream base.”
For outfit number six, Rebecca paired a stunning skirt with a black vest, as she expressed: “This skirt is a crinkled satin, really nice colour.
“I paired it with this vest, really nice quality.”

They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.
For the final look, we saw Rebecca rock a gorgeous leopard print skirt, that is just £22, as she beamed:
“This is a fab skirt, also super comfy. It’s elasticated.

“I would wear this in the evenings on holiday, I would also wear this with trainers, a little t-shirt and a denim jacket.
“You’d get so much wear out of this skirt.”
The Instagram clip, which was posted under the username @stylingwithrebecca, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 32,600 views.
Fashion fans were left gobsmacked at the supermarket buys and many were keen to express this in the comments.
