MANCHESTER UNITED have swiped youngster Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal, a report claims.
The 16-year-old forward was one of the Gunners’ hottest talents.
Obi-Martin previously held transfer talks with United over a potential move and has now confirmed Old Trafford is where his future lies, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert tweeted: “Chido Obi Martin to Man United, here we go! Talented striker leaves Arsenal and he’s just accepted Man Utd proposal.
“Pathway key for Chido who’s turned down higher bids from Germany to sign for Man United.
“Project convinced 2007-born top talent to accept.”
Arsenal had offered the youngster a place in their U18 squad with the chance to play up for the U21s when possible and potentially even train with the first team, according to the Daily Mail.
But the prolific goal scorer wanted to head straight into the U21 squad.
Obi-Martin scored 29 goals in just 17 league matches for Arsenal’s U18s last season.
In February he made headlines for netting 10 times in a single game for the Gunners’ U16 side against Liverpool.

That performance was not just a flash in the pan as he also scored four against both Crystal Palace and Fulham.
And five against West Ham and seven in one game vs Norwich.
The striker joined the Gunners back in 2022 after playing for Danish side KB.
Obi-Martin has represented Denmark at the 2024 Uefa European Under-17s Championships qualification campaign.
At the group stages, he scored twice in three games.

TOBY COLLYER – 6: Some good penetrating runs here after strong games against Rosenborg and Rangers too.
CASEMIRO – 6: Looks a lot leaner than this time last year in pre-season. The Brazilian looked to be on his way this summer but looks hungry to stay and contribute.
MASON MOUNT – 8: Good first-half playing in the number ten role. Looked sharp constantly trying to get on the ball and had a good shot well saved at the near post.
AMAD DIALLO – 5: Struggled to get in the game but provided a good assist for Mount to get a shot in.
MARCUS RASHFORD – 7: What a great 50 yard ball he produced from deep in his own half to set up Rasmus Hojlund for his goal.
RASMUS HOJLUND – 7: Hit a tenth minute goal as he barged past Ayden Heaven and fired a shot through the legs of Karl Hein. Then moments later he was down injured.

ETHAN WHEATLEY (Hannibal 45) – 5: Came on and swapped with McTominay in a false nine role but did not get one decent chance. Only one to miss in end of game exhibition shoot-out.
WILL FISH (Bennett 45) – 5: Appeared to pull out of a challenge on Martinelli allowing him to score and was berated by Onana.
